Chanel-ling Wheat, Grass & Awkwardness

I never liked Chanel's colarless granny tweed jackets but I do like their refreshing humble approach to the Chanel Spring Summer 2010 runway presentation.

Chicken coop dresses, a serious blur-headed mix of traditional floral prints with modern sequin and gauze.

Frumpy cornflower blue dresses complete with hunching models. Models with big fake smiles aka grinning widely(reminds me of those cheap plastic Polly Pocket dolls) as they parade quizzically in chicken coop dresses woven out of nothing but ribbons.

Short-cropped mop top head model Iris Strubegger decked out in rock n roll style garb toted a rattan woven embroided basket bag. Did Kyle hire a stylist for his show?

Well, those tweed jackets and rattan/ wool crocheted grocery baskets really fit the barnyard theme for Karl Lagerfield's Chanel Spring Summer 2010 show. Sheeps do belong on the barnyard naturally.
