Most Wanted List: Kenzo Spring Summer 2010

Checks and plaids are back in tonal blues on menswear inspired jackets at Kenzo Spring Summer 2010.

Burnished denim blazers, menswear tuxedo collars, tonal metallic blazers, giant cotton puffball print trench and bag, floral batik & tribal prints in loud colours, tie-dyed scarves, fur bags, huge perforated leather tote, thick elaborate buckle belts that I still think Roberto Cavalli holds the trophy for doing the best at in designing.

True to its founder Kenzo Takada, Kenzo Spring Summer 2010 collection has kept to its Asian-European roots as always.

  1. Jyun I've had a terrible weakness for Antonio Marras for ages. His collections (for Kenzo too) and presentations have always impressed me. I'm a devoted follower and I think this collection is clever and I can identify with the looks but...there were moments when I thought I was looking at Cacharel. Still I can't think of anyone else better to fit into Kenzo's shoes than Marras. He's a magician!

  3. Hi Jean, glad to see you here! Hmm, the Cacharel in Saint Germain has closed. I was there at one of the clearance sales. The shop was empty and the prices were incredulously bargain-worthy. However, I didn't find a suitable piece. The Cacherel under Wakako Kishimoto & Mark Eley's era was Kenzo like indeed.

Natalie - Yes, thin, strappy, strappy shoes, so refined and chic at the same time :)
