Back to Chloe Spring Summer 2010 collection, I was inspired more by the fresh faced beauties than the clothes themselves. The simple parted hair and natural lips blended in with Chloe's full-bodied tops and dresses. Leather super-short shorts skimming just over the groin area are in! Gone are the days of super-short denim shorts.
Varnished mock croc bags were in full swing on the Chloe Spring Summer 2010 runway as models trod down the runway in fragile-looking lace shoes and worn-out look kitten heel sandals with attached denim or scrunchy socks. I love the contrast combination of socks and sandals but Chloe shoes sad to say are not made for practical walking purposes. I have a pair of Chloe kitten heel boots and the heels were totally worn out after the 3rd time I worn it here in Singapore. Mind you the streets here are unlike the crazy cobblestoned ones in Italy.
When I took it to the Chloe shop at the local department store here - Takashimaya, the sales assistants refused to recognise the defects and I had to e-mail the Chloe HQ to get the job done.
