Throwback Thursday: Paris Rendezvous
#ThrowbackThursday: What I wore - Blue scarf from Iceland, Gold jacquard croc-print panel jacket by Matthew Williamson from one of the fall winter runway collection, vintage leather cross-body bag from Zara, gold leggings from BCBGMAXAZRIA, stud-detail over-the-knee suede boots by Fendi.
Trying out a mustard suede Barbara Bui satchel named "School's Out". Can you spot the red tartan frill-hem shorts underneath my jacket?
A little peek at my favourite French dessert, mineral water and other beverages in my hotel room. rians does really good dairy products be it cheese or after-dinner desserts.
Looking back earlier this year when I was in Paris I recalled stopping one stop too early on the Metro subway and ending up in an office district in Paris where I stopped to get breakfast at Brioche Doree and enjoyed viewing a few cherry blossoms or sakura. It was the first time I have seen cherry blossoms in real life.
And on that same day, I went to Avenue Montaigne and remembered being served well at the Barbara Bui flagship store in Paris. Because the service from the staff was so good, I ended up exploring the whole store and it piqued my curiosity for the brand by half-French, half-Vietnamese designer Barbara Bui whose brand is her name. This talented designer who won the Globe de Cristal award awarded by the French press of arts and culture for best fashion designer this year has her clothing and accessories won by Hollywood celebrities like Mila Kunis and Charlize Theron just to name a few.
