Resort 2015 Review - Best & Worst Part III
Our Final Review of Resort 2015 Collections as Spring Summer 2015 runway reviews are about to begin. We bypassed all the boring collections and bring you only the noteworthy ones worth your time. Be it good or bad we have the lowdown for you.
1) Donna Karan Resort 2015

2) Douglas Hannant Resort 2015
1) Donna Karan Resort 2015

Good idea, bad execution: This skirt and blazer combo from Donna Karan looks more moth ridden than magical eveningwear.

Donna Karan attempts to do sexy peek-a-boo with a see through long dress with random patches of ratty looking sequins plastered all over - pretty unsightly we must say.
2) Douglas Hannant Resort 2015

If looking like a blue green sea slug is your thing, try this two piece clown suit from Douglas Hannant.
3) Dsquared2 Resort 2015

Dsquared2 designer duo Dean and Dan Caten prefer remembering the sixties with bad hair and equally bad polka dot prints and flare bottom pants.

Ooh la la, we can't wait to get our hands on lustrous shiny metallics in the form of a chic tailored suit.
4) Ellery Resort 2015

Want to like the pumping coach after the strike of midnight? Cinderella would be damned her entire life if she lived in this pumpkin inspired hot air balloon inflatable disaster of a dress.
5) Erdem Resort 2015

Where’s my neck? Unflattering blouses with high necklines could accentuate fat face syndrome. Erdem tries to go Chinois in pretty plum blossom prints and silk brocade but fails to entice in bulky, unflattering silhouettes.

Did someone see the tablecloth? It's almost dinner time in the little prairie home.
6) Erin Fetherston Resort 2015

The matriach. She's not one bit fun-loving at all. We can only imagine which self-loving woman would let herself down in this dull dress..

Grand dame, pretty lame without a proper stylist.

This black bejeweled dress from Erin Fetherston is perfect for properly pregger people attending a funeral.

Holding a book doesn't make you look smart. Besides, a lady who cares about birds would probably look less terse.
7) Fausto Puglisi Resort 2015

Fausto Puglisi is back for Resort 2015 after giving us fun tropical palm prints on sexy silk dresses. The resort look is more gladiator meets hard rock in pretty colorblock pastels, and studded gladiator sandals.
We love the bustier dress with Fausto's signature cone shaped flare skirt in sexy leather nipped and the waist.
8) Fendi Resort 2015

Model Binx Walton stars in a movie Two gangsters and a funeral for this tacky yet sombre Resort 2015 collection for Fendi. Binx is seen here in an awful fur and mesh cape cheapened by their gaudy brand name printed all over.
Fashion lesson learnt: Fendi is no Versace.

Horrible peter pan collars should only be seen on dresses for five year olds and not fifteen or fifty-somethings.

Two gangsters and a funeral. No prizes for guessing who's which. The black funeral dress with floral prints are reminiscence of Prada's Spring Summer 2013 collection. Talk about copycat ahoy, Fendi designer Karl Lagerfeld truly lacks creativity or any ounce of originality.
9) Francesco Scognamiglio Resort 2015

Into the Blue: A MariaCarla Boscono lookalike dons on a beautiful aqua two-piece pants and blouse by Francesco Scognamiglio. The stark contrast between the piercing sea blue and the model's pale skin is remarkable.

Tropical floral prints against a vibrant blue colour.

Sexy and sleek knotted front dress perfect for less endowed ladies.
10) Gucci Resort 2015

Python skin jacket with utility pockets, need we say more?

Unfortunately, the rest of the collection from Gucci's Resort 2015 presentation was stuffy, boring and old lady-like. It was as if there was a competition to see which outfit could hide away most parts of the body.

Ave to androgyny! Rock and roll in this Gucci resort outfit with the most buttery soft pair of black leather pants with silver stud button detailing surrounding the pockets and crotch area.

We love the faded botanical prints on this antique cream coloured bermudas paired with a sparkly embellished sweater.
11) Honor Resort 2015

Look like a little old lady in this 1950s skirt and blouse combo. The redhead model strangely resembles Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes who loves to play dress up with her mom's clothes.

Bad pyjamas.

Ghost from the past?

Granny.
12) JC de Castelbajac Resort 2015

We love the colour Jean Charles de Castekbajac had chosen for his resort 2015 collection - khaki green.

JC de Castelbajac is know for his peculiar prints - in this case, rattan basket-weave and birds.

Could these be lovely parakeets with a yellow blush?

The parakeets come alive on a white sweater top. The basketweave prints look fairly interesting and three dimensional (3D) on those trousers.
