After previewing all the lovely items from the Topshop X Kate Moss 2014 collection online, we made our way down on the very first day of the iconic model's collection launch at the Topshop store in Knightsbridge, Singapore.
Surprisingly, the sizes of the shorts ran quite large and the UK size 4 suede shorts were snapped up pretty quickly at some outlets. The gold embroidery heart print rompers ran true to size. The blouses and dresses were too long and over-sized for the average petite Asian fashionistas.
The quality of the Topshop X Kate Moss collection apparel was pretty average for the prices charged. Each beaded star camisole top has the usual unfinished threads sticking out of two or more stars which was pretty unsettling as this means the outfit would be losing stars pretty soon after a few wear and washes.
The finishing on the interior of each pair of shorts was quite unsightly with pieces of white lining exposed. The pretty looking Kimono tops and bohemian style colorful embroided shift dress, paisley print and tassel feather print blouse looked less appealing in reality than compared online - the colors looked washed out and less vibrant and the material looked flimsy and cheap.
We tried on the suede fringed jacket and it did not look good at all. One might ask which drunken cowboy I got that ratty, discarded jacket from.
